It was miraculous survival for Mr. Femi Akinsanya in yesterday’s Associated Airlines’ plane crash.
Akinsanya, son- in-law of the late former Governor Olusegun Agagu whose body was being conveyed to Akure, the Ondo State capital from Lagos for burial, walked out of the remains of the Embraer 120 aircraft.

Akinsanya, along with his brother in-law, Mr. Feyi Agagu, the late Agagu’s son, were the only family members of the late governor on board the
ill-fated plane.
As it turned out, they were among the seven survivors. As the aircraft crashed, Akinsanya, a Lagos businessman, was seen walking out of the wreckage before the aircraft caught fire. He suffered a minor injury on his head.
As he walked away, apparently conscious, Air Force men who were among the first set of rescuers at the site, stopped him. They assisted him to stop the flow of blood on his head. He told them he wanted to go home to join his family, according to an eyewitness.
But the Air Force personnel told him he was under the Federal Government’s custody and could not go. They took him to the nearby Air Force clinic.
The eye witness said: “I saw one man walk out on his legs. I think he is the only one that walked out.”
It was gathered that Aklinsanya broke the news of the crash to the burial party waiting at the Akure airport to receive the body of the former governor, which was to lie in-state in the Ondo State capital yesterday.
He reportedly spoke to Mr. Femi Agagu, the late former governor’s younger brother, who broke the news to Governor Olusegun Mimiko, who was leading the burial party.

Hoodlums fight over money found on crash victims........

Some hoodlums on Thursday were seen exchanging blows and throwing bottles at one another over the money they found on the dead victims of the Associated Airline plane crash.

When our correspondent got to the scene of the incident, he observed that the hoodlums had turned the road leading to the crash site to a boxing ground.

It was learnt that when the hoodlums were assisting in the evacuation of the victims, they allegedly searched the victims’ pockets for money and other valuable things.

It was also learnt that they fight ensued due to alleged ‘insincerity’ in the sharing of the money they stole from the dead.

One of the hoodlums, identified simply as Loko, was heard saying, “You won’t believe that after the whole rescue thing, we luckily found money and they don’t want to share it equally.”

A plane carrying 20 people has crashed shortly after take-off from Lagos airport in Nigeria, officials say.

A rescue operation is ongoing. At least 13 people are known to have died and several more of those on board were injured.
The Associated Airlines plane was bound for Akure, which lies about 140 miles (225km) north-east of Lagos.
The plane's engine appeared to fail and the aircraft plunged to the ground and burst into flames, officials said.

The charter flight took off at about 09:30 local time (08:30 GMT) from the domestic terminal at Lagos's Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

Officials said the plane crashed on to open land within the airport complex, close to a fuel storage depot.
It is not yet clear whether the fuel caught fire.
Eyewitness Ahmad Safian told the BBC: "I heard a loud bang and then there was lots of black smoke. The security forces rushed straight to the scene. I saw three bodies removed from the wreckage."
Mr Safian said the road to the airport was blocked for a short time but operations were continuing as normal at the airport.

Akure is the capital of Ondo state. Local media reported that the plane was carrying the body of the former state governor, Olusegun Agagu, who was to have been buried this weekend.
Although Nigeria's air safety record has improved in recent years, the country has a history of major passenger plane crashes.
In June 2012, more than 150 people were killed after a dual engine failure caused a plane to crash in Lagos.
Lagos airport is a major hub for West Africa and saw 2.3 million passengers pass through it in 2009, according to the most recent statistics provided by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.

Nollywood 'bad boy' actor, Jim iyke has cried out to debunk news report going viral on the internet that he was delivered from witchcraft at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCoAN) headed by Prophet TB Joshua. The actor was said to have undergone a deliverance session on Sunday at the church and was reportedly freed from some evil spirits which have allegedly prevented him from finding a wife despite being qualified to have one. Some had also reported that he was delivered from witchcraft, but the talented make-believe star has rebuffed such reports by laughing it out. He reacted to such reports via his twitter handle when he wrote, "lol witchcraft?! It's imperative I underscore that people are oblivious to what transpired [during my deliverance]. Ignorance is no excuse. Tailor your opinion to who you know." Meanwhile, reactions have continued to trail the incident. Some Nigerians have questioned the authenticity of the video which showed the deliverance of Jim Iyke. Others termed it as another form of 'acting' by the actor allegedly planned with the church for publicity purpose.

The 27-year old suspect, (Name witheld), said he has learnt the process of ATM fraud through Youtube, and he bought the tools.
DSP Altine Daniel, the command’s spokesperson, explained in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). “On Sept. 21, at about 10 a.m., some staff of the bank came to report at our office at Utako that their ATM had problem. “When our men moved to the scene and started looking for clues and anything that will assist them in their investigation, they noticed that the CCTV monitor room had been tampered with.

“After a thorough search, they also noticed that the door of the toilet in the room was locked from within and when they opened it, they found somebody seated. “The suspect was picked up and taken to the station where he confessed to the crime,” she said. Investigations are still going on. The Suspect used a plier and a screw driver.

Train Hits Couple Having Sex On Its Tracks - Woman Killed, Man Loses Both Legs.

   A thrill-seeking Ukrainian couple met a tragic end after they stopped on their way home to made love on a train tracks and were hit by a train.

According to Ukrainian Interior Ministry, which announced the Saturday morning accident,  the couple 'wanted to experience an extreme sensation near the railroad tracks.
They were returning home from a party at a friend's house when they decided to stop on the tracks.  Reports say they were drunk at the time, so they failed to overcome their natural passion when walking home.'

Unfortunately, the '30-something' woman was killed by the train while her 41-year-old male companion lost both legs, but survived to tell the story.Assuming they waited till they reached home these wouldn't have happened.Anyway may her soul rest in peace.
